Mine seneste arbejder omhandler tidens tegn - at finde vej og bevare overblikket i et digitalt virvar af gode råd, ’lev dit liv’-citater og korte reels, der fortæller hvordan man kan fixe alt fra en urtepotte til eget udseende, øve dansetrin og/eller hvordan man skræmmer livet af sin kæreste. Jeg har skabt ’demonstrerende’ fingerringe, påmalet emojis på diamantformer, så facetterne forvrænger ’billedet’ i kombination med 3-dimentionelle detaljer i sølv og som fundament for brocheringen er der tilføjet udsavede udsagn som f.eks. ’Go search for it’, ’Peace Please’ eller refereret til tiktok looket ’clean girl’.Sangen My Silver Lining af First Aid Kit være soundtracket til en verden – både den indre og ydre – der er vendt op og ned……I've woken up in a hotel roomMy worries as big as the moonHaving no idea who or what or where I amSomething good comes with the badA song's never just sadThere's hope, there's a silver liningShow me my silver lining…
My latest works deal with the signs of the times - finding your way and keeping an overview in the digital mess of good advice, 'live your life' quotes and short reels that tell you how to fix everything from a flowerpot to your own appearance, practicing dance steps and/or how to scare the life out of your loved ones. I have created 'protesting' finger rings, painted emojis on diamond shapes so that the facets distort the 'image' in combination with 3-dimensional details in silver and as the foundation for the pin, I have added cut-out statements such as 'Go search for it', 'Peace Please' or a reference to the TikTok look 'clean girl'.The song My Silver Lining by First Aid Kit has been the soundtrack to a world - both internal and external - that has been turned upside down...…I've woken up in a hotel roomMy worries as big as the moonHaving no idea who or what or where I amSomething good comes with the badA song's never just sadThere's hope, there's a silver liningShow me my silver lining…
